That would probably be better. You would definately need to protect your eyes and mouth. And acquiring the target would be good too. Also that would be inexpensive. Smart thinking!

It would probably be a bad idea, as a gasmask severely limits periferal vision and is also harder to get proper stock weld which makes acquiring your sights more difficult.

heres a quick yes or no question. if zombies do start attacking, would it be a good idea to wear a gas mask with goggles, you know to cover the mouth and eyes from getting the blood in them, or would it be a waste of valuable time to search for them?

@43monsterman i agree with you on the guns, but a katana or your machette isnt very good. mostly because 1. they get dull over time no matter how skilled you are at cutting heads it will dull. and 2. they dont surve a secondary purpose, for example if you got a fire axe, it can chop heads off and help you cut fire wood(incase the power goes out)were as a sword doent really do anything else.

to contur act a zombie invasion always have a rifle or a shotgun maby if you must be a gangsta a uzi. but a solid melee weapon steel rod,iron rod,maby a katana if your rich and or what not. i however carry a costumized machette being mexican more than likely a streyotype but its reinforced with steel sharpend to cut mesqite trees which if u dont know are think it has finger holes for close range fist to fist action with the added bounse of slashing.

Not a chance, dude. Military base would be on complete lock down. Beside, the armory would be locked tighter than a 9 year old girl. Sold steel doors, one to two feet thick. Besides, how many other people do you think would be trying to ransack the base, including the military? By the time you got there, you’d be just in time for dinner.

Not to cause an argument, but if we’re talking about the walking dead, “Night of the Living Dead” you would be correct. However, the living dead would also not be able to move for the same reason, they have no blood flow and deteriorated muscles and tendons, which happens surprisingly quick. It would be magic. However, “28 Days Later”, “Resident Evil”, or any other parasitic, or viral generated zombie would still have blood flow as they are not dead, they are vessels and hosts for the parasite.

zombies dont splatter cause their organs have shut down and therefore the blood when the parts of its body including the head are cot off its not like all of the blood is going to fly out in fact their will be little to no spillage whatsoever not to mention that in a couple of days/weeks the blood might even dry
