You CAN punch …
You CAN punch zombie in a face without no risk if you have like biker cloves in your hand, or cut-protection cloves etc. military/protection cloves, because they protect your knuckles when you hit a zombie, and if the zombie bites you, it will bite your hand (in the knuckels to precise) and it will do no harm to you.
